Why you should read Ercian Testament!
You should read Ercian Testament because it is a good book: it is a work of love; it leads the way in the search for knowledge; and it calls out for courage from all good human beings.
I believe that for humankind to learn to live in peace, we must first learn about Proligion. The Spirit of Proligion reaches out to all good religions, so that we may build a better future for us and for all our children. I do not have all the answers about what Proligion should be, just some basic ideas. Therefore, if Proligion signifies the evolution of Religion unto a higher consciousness, a necessary and sufficient number of the good people of planet Earth must embrace this proposition. For Proligion to succeed, it will take teamwork. For Proligion to fulfill what I think it promises, it will require the good will and the good ideas of all those overcome with this higher vision of human society in our beautiful world.
Perhaps Ercian Philosophy can help, but I cannot tell you what Ercian Philosophy is in a short paragraph. To learn what it teaches--if I may assume the unearned title of a teacher--you must necessarily read my book.
You will find a good part of the substance or foundation of Ercian Philosophy in Ercian Testament - Part One. There, I warn people about the programming of the mind, and about becoming blind followers of any faith. On the other hand, I point out that it is also the mind actively seeking the acquisition of knowledge what can save us from what I call the Chain of Unconsciousness. In another chapter, I explain the necessity of following the good ideas, rather than go looking for a Messiah who can solve all our problems. Finally, I bring out the need for ethical communication without compromising our commitment to search for the truth.
In Ercian Testament - Part Two and Ercian Testament - Part Three, you will find those aspects of Ercian Philosophy dealing with Cosmology, my concepts of God, how the universe(s) come into existence, how I view the relationship of man with God, and much more. In a couple of those chapters, you will find that part of Ercian Philosophy dealing with the themes of "good and evil" and "social justice."
