PROLIGION is a concept that is part of the Ercian religion. We say to other religious people: "You do not have to believe as we believe. If your concept of God is different from our concept, that is fine. You are entitled to believe and worship as you think is best. The important thing is for the good people of the world to work together in order to overcome the forces of division and evil."

PROLIGION requires no religious belief or advocacy. Pro- means “for” and -ligare means “to bind” “to unite,” so PROLIGION basically means to be “for union” and against “division.” The human race divided is bound to fail. This is especially true when religious groups fall into fanaticism and irrationality. 

PROLIGION is the effort to unite all peoples of good mind and goodwill regardless of their religion so that we can build a better world working together, and so we may overcome whatever difficulties we may find. 

In a secular society such as that of the United States we can use PROLIGION to teach the children in our classrooms (and adults elsewhere) what we believe should be the LAWFUL and REQUIRED rules of behavior in a civilized and orderly society. If you want to call them moral precepts or ethical rules go ahead, but they have nothing to do with religion. PROLIGION is not religion. PROLIGION is common sense.

These are my basic PROLIGIOUS suggestions, intended for all but especially for the young. If you have better ideas, join the conversation:

Do not murder. Do not steal. Do not do drugs. Tell the truth. Honor your parents if they honor and care for you. If you cannot love, at least respect others. Study, work and become a productive member of society. Play sports. Enjoy music, comedy and the arts. Meditate! Find a balance between what is good for you and what is good for others. Seek union and understanding through peaceful and effective means of communication. Support the free flow of information and the use of public debates to decide the policies that are best for our society.

For those of you who are religious, understand that I am not trying to replace Moses or the prophet of your religion. If you teach your children those things that are good, keep doing it. If you are a fanatic, stop, and reform your religion. It is your religion, not mine. I am drafting this for our secular society, so that our President and the members of Congress can reform the education system in our schools to bring some goodness and civilization into this Godless culture and society.

Am I being too harsh? Really? Many of the things we do are about SEPARATION, DIVISION, ALIENATION. I will cite a few.

We have SEPARATION of Church and State, so God is “out the window.” Fine. Our founding fathers agreed to that because they believed, as would any wise person, that moral values would still be taught in schools. They were wrong. Therefore, okay, do not follow any particular religion BUT teach PROLIGION.

We have SEPARATION of families. Forget about strong bonds of commitment between a man and a woman. Forget about the basic unit of a society which includes marriage and children. Oh, but no, Black Lives Matter does not believe in the nuclear family, and neither do other Marxists and anarchists. 

Everything is about boyfriends and girlfriends with children winding up in one parent homes or all over the place with the grandparents who already raised their own and now their sons or daughters burden them with their offspring. Too often, the mother is doing drugs, the father is lost hanging out with his buddies or new girlfriend, and the children grow up unloved, unguided and uncared for.

It is not a GUN problem, Democrat politicians and assorted totalitarians who want to take away our right to bear arms! It is a PEOPLE problem, a problem created by dysfunctional families, by irresponsible parents and by a warped and ineffective education system that cannot give those who were children once and those who are children now the love and guidance human beings need to become healthy productive members of society.

We have SEPARATION of races, our own current imbecilic government teaching children in schools that some of them who are white are oppressors while those who are black are victims.

We also have some Democrats, some indoctrinated members of the mainstream media, plenty of so-called "experts," college professors and TV pundits proclaiming that the USA is a systemically racist society.  I say, "balderdash!" Are these people working towards UNION? Are they seeking understanding through all the things we have in common? No! They are working for SEPARATION.

We have SEPARATION of classes, with every Marxist in sight, and every no-good lazy parasite who never did anything in his or her life to improve his or her own lot demanding that the rich pay much, much, much more, too quickly forgetting that it is the risks they take by investing their fortunes that produces all the industries that allow millions of people to have jobs and earn a living. As it is now, that 1% pay 50% of all taxes, I believe. They should pay their fair share, fine, but what is fair?

We have SEPARATION of fetuses from their mothers’ wombs. Without getting into specifics, should there be time limits to decide when an abortion is legal and when it is murder? I believe so. In cases of rape and incest, should an abortion be legally and morally justified? I believe so. That is my opinion.

People who are pro-life must remember we are not a theocracy in the United States. Do pro-life people have a right to impose their moral beliefs on pro-choice people? Why not let them answer to God and be responsible for their own destiny if those choices bring negative consequences afterwards?

We have SEPARATION by gender. I cannot keep up with all the gender divisions our society has come up with. We used to find common ground, a union of sorts, men with men, women with women. Then came gayness into play.

Gayness is fine. They were born that way, nature made them that way, God made them that way. Otherwise, why would they like something unless it was natural to them? It is not a sin to be gay. Supposing they were heterosexuals who wanted to become gay. That is their business. It is a free country. 

Okay, so then we have a separation of gay men and gay women from heterosexual men and women, but that was not enough. Now, "do you feel the body you are in is the right body?" says the trans movement. It is not like a suit, you know, easy to change or buy a new one. Radical changes to one’s body can have disastrous consequences, but hey, it is not my body. As long as they do not do it to children who do not have the capacity to make that decision.

We should not hate or do violence against gay or trans people. It is wrong. On the other hand, I do not want transvestite shows in front of kids. Let them grow up without undue influences, especially from adult strangers.

Anyway, with this modern culture we keep drifting away, separating ourselves from each other to the point it does not make sense to say we are part of the same society.

We have SEPARATION by WOKE fanatics, canceling people and bringing about the loss of their jobs. Completely wrong and unacceptable. What else is there to say?

We have SEPARATION of employees at our workplaces, especially within corporations where virtue signaling executives coerce employees to attend unfounded and divisive white privilege, social justice or other kinds of seminars. 

What moral right do these corporate executives have to impose their personal beliefs or preferences on the rest of the employees who work there? Why should they be allowed to use the name of the company to speak publicly for ALL employees, upsetting and bringing social shame or embarrassment to those employees who strongly disagree with them? 

If things continue like this, eventually we will have SEPARATION of motorists, the few who can afford electric cars and the rest of us who cannot. Should our government rethink their green energy agenda or, at the very least, be more considerate of the pain and suffering a speedy transition will cause the general population? The elite in power have no worries, of course.

Seek UNION and do not seek DIVISION. Teach PROLIGION. It is The Way!
