THE ERCIAN SIGN

The Ercian Sign refers to two things:

1) the number 444, the numerical value of the name of Jesus and the first name or "entry" I calculated when I discovered the formula for "The Chart of Six." You will find another page in the website dedicated to explaining this Chart.

2) the number 444 is also the number through which I Joseph Marchante believe either God ELLAEL or Jesus (my spiritual and religious mentor in my early life years) confirmed that what I thought was only a personal journey of discovery regarding the nature of God was in reality my religious or, since I am advancing the concept of "Proligion," my proligious mission in life.

The Ercian Sign also refers to the "physical" sign I make when I finish my prayers to ELLAEL with these words: "In the name of the Mother, and of the Son, and of the Father, and of the Daughter, and of the Spirits of Our Houses, Amen and Xamen."

The Ercian Sign is the Christian Sign of the Cross with different words and with added gestures. As a right-handed person:

When I say "In the name of the Mother" my right hand touches my forehead.

When I continue saying "and of the Son" my right hand travels and touches the middle of my chest.

When I continue saying "and of the Father" my right hand travels and touches the top of my left shoulder.

When I continue saying "and of the Daughter" my right hand travels and touches the top of my right shoulder.

When I continue saying "and of the Spirits of Our Houses" my LEFT HAND takes over by touching my right shoulder (picking up where my right hand left off), then travelling to the middle of my chest, (in the same motion) continuing by travelling to the center of my forehead (where the Ercian Sign started).

Finally, "in one sequential motion" when I continue saying "Amen" my LEFT HAND travels from the center of my forehead to touch my RIGHT shoulder, and when I finish by saying "Xamen" my LEFT HAND finishes the sign by travelling from my RIGHT shoulder to my LEFT shoulder, and that is it.

Left-handed persons can either "reverse" the moves or just use their right hand to do the Ercian Sign. One characteristic of the Ercian Religion is that it is flexible rather than dogmatic in many aspects.

May your prayers to God be blessed!
